Kia India Sales Performance Analysis – January 2024
Kia India, जो South Korea की बड़ी car company का subsidiary है, ने January 2024 में YoY sales में 17% का drop देखा, जब उन्होंने 23,769 units बेचे, जबकि पिछले साल के शामे period में उन्होंने 28,634 units बेचे थे। लेकिन अगर December 2023, जिसमे उन्होंने 12,536 units बेचे थे, से compare करे तो Kia India ने YoY sales में 89.6% का increase देखा।
YoY sales drop के बावजूद, Kia India ने overall manufacturers’ standings में fifth position पकड़ी, Toyota, Honda, Renault, MG, VW, Nissan, Skoda, Citroen और Jeep से आगे। Top four positions में Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata और Mahindra थे।
Model-Wise Sales Breakdown
Kia Sonet: ये compact SUV Kia की portfolio में सबसे ज़्यादा बिकने वाला model था जो last month में 11,530 units का sale किया। इसने YoY positive sales increase of 25% किया जबकि 12 mahine पहले के same period में 9,261 units का sale किया था। कुछ weeks पहले launch हुआ facelifted Sonet, बहुत सारे exterior और interior updates के साथ आता है।
Kia Seltos: ये midsize SUV, जो पिछले साल facelift हुआ था, January 2024 में 6,391 units का sale किया। लेकिन ये YoY negative sales growth of 39% का मतलब है जबकि पिछले साल के same period में 10,470 units का सेल किया था।
Kia Carens: Carens third position में finish हुआ जो January 2024 में 5,848 unit sales किया लेकिन YoY volume decline of 26% का मतलब है जबकि पिछले साल के same period me 7,900 units का सेल किया था।
Interesting बात ये है की Carnival और EV6 के कोई भी units last month में नहीं बेचे गए. इसका result ये है की brand ने 6% का market share record किया जो January 2023 के 8.3% से काम है।
मॉडल-वार परफॉर्मेंस:
Sonet की बिक्री 25% बढ़कर 11,530 यूनिट हो गई।
Seltos की बिक्री 39% घटकर 6,391 यूनिट हो गई।
Carens की बिक्री 26% घटकर 5,848 यूनिट हो गई।
Carnival की बिक्री पूरी तरह बंद हो गई।
Upcoming Launch
Kia India में fourth-generation Carnival launch करने वाला है। ये premium MPV अंदर और बहार दोनों में comprehensive updates के साथ आएगा और शायद seven-seater और nine-seater configurations में available होगा। 2.2L four-cylinder turbo diesel engine सायद same रहेगा, जो around 200 PS और 440 Nm generate करता है और इसके साथ शायद eight-speed automatic transmission होगा।

तोह जबकि Kia India ने January 2024 में YoY sales drop face किया, company की diverse portfolio और upcoming launches से लगता है की brand के लिए Indian market में promising future है।
